exitwm It basically means not to make the subject all about that person. 2017/12/05
exitwm A lot of times when people don't want to take ownership or if ther are at fault, they try to turn a conversation around and push it onto someone else.
It means "Don't try to deflect and make the topic go from you to me." Or "This is not about me"

exitwm A little easy answer.
So say I was arguing with someone. Maybe they'd say something like, "I cant believe you did that to me."
And I could respond, "You do the same thing to me all the time!!"
They'd say, "Don't make this about me."
Its kind of a way to avoid responsibility for your own actions.
